At Old Mill Garage Services in Aberdeen, we offer professional number plate fitting and replacement for cars and vans.

When do I need new number plates?

There are several reasons you might need a new number plate—your current plate could be cracked, faded, discoloured, or damaged in an accident. In some cases, you may simply want to replace a lost or stolen plate or update the style for a fresh, clean look that complies with DVLA regulations.

Old Mill Garage Services supply and fit number plates in Aberdeen

A damaged or unreadable number plate can result in an MOT failure or even a fine, so it’s important to replace it promptly. At our workshop here in Aberdeen, we supply and fit DVLA-compliant number plates that meet legal requirements for font, spacing, and reflectivity, keeping your vehicle road-legal and safe.

Do I need any documents to have new number plates fitted?

To get a new number plate made and fitted at Old Mill Garage Services, you’ll need to bring two documents with you. The first must show your identity (such as a driving licence or passport), and the second must prove your entitlement to the registration number – this could be your V5C logbook, a V778 retention document, or a vehicle tax reminder (V11).
